Update Unfortunately due to the government announcement on the 24/09/2020. The County of Donegal will move into Level 3 Covid Restrictions from midnight Friday 25/09/2020 until the 16th October 2020.As a result, there will be no training sessions for any age group for the next 3 weeks. In the meantime practise your basketball skills at home and please follow all guidelines and protect one another. We will update you as soon as we are in a position to return to training.
Well done to our under 14 boys playing at the AICCs in Gormanstown this weekend. They’ve won their first two matches and lost their 3rd. One more match to go today. They’re doing Donegal proud!
Congratulations to our U16 boys who won the NW Cup today after a great battle against Letterkenny Blaze. They boys will now join Sligo All-Stars in representing the North West at the AICCs in a few weeks. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the Blaze player who got injured in the game today. Donegal Town Basketball Club will be collecting on the Diamond tomorrow. We are raising funds to send our under 14 girls and boys teams and hopefully our older teams to the all Ireland Club Championships in April. All support is greatly appreciated.
Well done to our 4 club members playing for NW under 16 boys in Spain this week. The boys reached the division 2 final.

There was a great display of basketball yesterday from both teams. The boys played Mulroy Hoops earlier on in the day to make it into the final before narrowly beating Letterkenny Blaze in a hard fought battle. ![]()

Donegal.Town Basketball Club were proud to host a very successful tournament for u14 boys and girls.Teams from Dublin, Galway, Mayo and Donegal gathered at the Abbey Vocational School gym as they put on a display of amazing skills, fast action games, and plenty of drama. On Saturday 12 games took place as the 2 groups of 4 teams [4 boys , 4 girls] battled it out, to determine the semi final placing for Sunday![]()

Donegal Town BC committee would like to thank all who helped organised this tournament. Thanks to the refs, table officials and parents who contributed to make everything run so smoothly.
